Alone again, naturally...

It is finished.

If you don’t understand that reference, you are not culturally literate and do not deserve to be reading this blog right now. Also, you deserve to be kicked in the teeth and forced to read early American literature and poetry. On with the show: I figure I should maybe post once or twice today, on account of I graduated and all that.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but I had some personal stuff to take care of. None of it worked, but I still had to take care of it. Anyway, I regret to inform you that my end-of-semester plans to have both a girlfriend and a job have been miserable failures and that I have no prospect of either. Such is life.

So the reason I thought I should post is that I am headed to Montana tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the a.m. I doubt even my ability to access the Internet in Big Sky Country. I will be camping for a little over a week or so at either Glacier National Park on the Canadian border or at Yellowstone or somewhere else that I don’t really know. That’s my favorite part about this trip, the fact that I am going to be a solitary man for a while and that I can use it as some sort soul-searching journey, only with a name that sounds less like I’ll be listening to Kenny G. It should be fun.

Back to graduation. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared just as I would be lying if I said I constantly posted deep and personal things on this site (I tend to avoid the personal with other people as it makes me uncomfortable). But, hey, why be scared right? It’s only that I’ll be doing something completely new for the first time in over 16 years of my life and the fact that the decisions I make now actually matter somewhat. What does that matter anyway?

But I digress. You probably won’t hear from me for a while, so make sure you watch Lost on your own and stay tuned for pictures.

Also, congrats to Mr. Sagehorn the elder as well.

I've heard from several people that Yellowstone is greatly overrated. And don't forget to wear sunscreen.

And bring a large gun... at least a Hatchet if 6th grade literature bears any truth whatsoever

Don't worry. I just decided to major in Film Studies and minor in both Journalism/Mass Comm and Comparitive Literature. So you might have a head start on unemployment, but I will so win this race.

Also, why are you congratulating my dad? New leg?

I forgot to wish your mom happy mothers' day, so I thought I'd get a head start on congratsing your dad

Congraduations to you, too. Granted, I won't be done until June 3rdish, but still. It's the thought that counts. If it makes you feel any better I suck at relationships, too, and my "job" at Illinois is only delaying getting a real job. Buck up.
